It more and likely located underneath the car near the fuel tank.

there's probably a filter inside the tank itself, if you have an air compressor just hook it up to the outlet on the tank(make sure it's dry first) and open up the compressor, the filter should pop off. Now just add an inline fuel filter. Much easier to replace.

I can't say for sure were the filter is, but I would be surprised if it was in the tank. Fuel filters are meant to be changed and I can't see GM putting it in such a PITA place like inside the tank.

I would suggest to just trace the fuel line from the engine back. There will be two lines and the filter will be on the 'fatter' line.

Oh dont be so sure of that all 04& 05 c&k models have a "life time filter" it the tank! and there are more models to come! as for the cav. your filter is under the car right buy the evap canister look up high near the body , you may need a flashlight as it is hard to see , (between the tank & canister )up high!

Yea Chrysler has been doing that for years , but that dont make it right ! , I guess what they may be thinking is the fuel pumps go bad perty regular so why not put the filter on the pump?
