Re: A video of my Skyline powered Holden revving

Sounds good, my 32 has an rb25det in it as well (put in aftermarket in japan) And as much as people hate the imports the 25det is a damn good engine. pic of my 4dr

thx, Yup I'm in canberra too . Fair big skyline crowd in Canberra, bit suprised you didn't make an rb30det hybrid though, since you must of have the 30 bottom end.

Re: A video of my Skyline powered Holden revving

I was seriously recommended by a fair few people that the hybrids really need to be rebuilt, using better pistons and whatnot, and since I was paying someone else to do the work, a straight RB25det was good enough! lol
The power that hybrids make ............ insane!

Re: A video of my Skyline powered Holden revving

Something to look into, know a friend who made a rb30det himself, rb25de head. Had some work done on it but stock pistons etc, putting out a reliable 240 rwkw on a highflow 25 turbo. rb30 bottom ends are damn tough.

Re: A video of my Skyline powered Holden revving

My mate had a very clean stock R33 GT. That engine was very smooth and made... just checking..... 168kW and 648NM. Sadly the car was involved in a smash about 3 months ago.

P.S if anyone want's the above motor & gearbox PM me.(The car was rear ended, but most of it survived.) The GT had about 85000* on it when it was written-off.

Yes, it is the manual. Just phoned him and he wants $3500(Negotiable) for the whole car. He does not want to deal in bits. But as I said the car is 95% fine and if there really is a good Skyline community in Canberra then you should have no problem selling all the bits you don't want at a nice profit.
