    Congratulations!

    Would have been a 2010 9-5 if not for you-know-what, wouldn't it?

Gorgeous picture and congratulations. Maybe GM will one day turn the CTS into a true E-Class competitor.

The gap in the chrome trim around the sidelights, back by the C-pillar, is an amazing design oversight. I also hate that it does not continue under the sideviews. That is really 'cheaping out'.
The front fascia is a puzzling, forced mix of curves & sharp angles- like they could not decide which direction to go in. Grille, tho tired, still works OK, but the rest is just twiddledicking around without direction, IMO.

Mercedes Benz and gaps go together like chocolate and peanut butter. I have yet to find a Benz with gaps that you can't fit a whole hand into.

coaster: In the event you were being facetious; by 'gap' I meant 'interruption' -- that noticable break where the chrome fails to meet and black shows, lower corner of the rear doors' quarter windows.

Wish I was being facetious. That is a glaring design mistake.. however its not the only design flaw. Looks are subjective, I get that. But take a look at this and tell me that where the hood meets the rest of the car doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.
