Our new Buick Baby

Cant wipe the smile off my face - My wife would've never looked at GM (coming from a Toyota family) had our '02 Tahoe not be such an awesome vehicle.

Only had 10 miles on the odometer when we bought it right off the truck

Ive owned/driven alot of GM cars, but this is the first one where I will need to read the manual - there are so many goodies in this thing that I have never had in a car - Im going to be busy this weekend - If you havent sat/driven an Enclave I recommend doing so - GM knows how to build world class cars again (well - some better mpgs would make things perfect, but we dont live in a perfect world )

Re: Our new Buick Baby

Congrats on your new Enclave. Nice color choice, btw. Everytime I see an Enclave on the road I get a smile. They're so gorgeous!

LOL!

Im going from the LT world to the CXL world!

Cant wait for lunch time as I need to sit in the thing and figure out the Nav system - Question for everyone, last night when playing a DVD for the kids the Nav system screen was very bright - is there a quick way to dim the nav screen or turn the display off?

Hey, goochman! Whatcha doin' with my car!

Congrats, man. You'll love it. And I can attest to one thing, after a month, the smile remains. Simply the best overall experience with a car I've ever had. I can't believe how much I like this car.

So, what options did you get. I can see that it's a CXL from your signature and that you have the nav. Is it AWD? Nice interior. I like the cashmere interior.

Enjoy. I know I've been enjoying mine. And it gets stares constantly, as you'll find out. I had folks walking around it at the movie theatre the other day. It was rather funny to watch all these folks bail out of a Toyota and then walk slowly around the Buick with smiles on their faces. Teens think the car is cool, so Buick has its mojo back. A single vehicle can change A LOT.

One thing I found fascinating is how well it handles. It continues to surprise me. You and your wife are in for some very pleasant drives.

BTW. Very nice neighbourhood!

The best part? It's in a driveway next to a BMW! Yeah hoo! Go Buick!

Thanks - so far so good - We got the Driver Convience Package, Entertainment Package, Dual Sunroof, DVD, AWD, Trailering packge - just about everything

As for the BMW in the driveway - that was my wifes choice not mine - though it is a nice car

The Enclave handles very well - Im getting through the tranny learn mode which as I understand lasts a few 100 miles or so - but its still pretty smooth right from the get go if you ask me

I have to say now that I am really glad I got the Enclave over the Acadia - both are nice vehicles but GM went 2 steps further in refining the Enclave

Re: Our new Buick Baby

2 more things -

We got the adaptive headlights that move when you turn - very cool!

Sticker was $44,200 - purchased for $42,200 so we were able to get some $$$ off MSRP.

Re: Our new Buick Baby

My grandparents got an Enclace CXL FWD. I love it!!! It's an amazing car. The only disappointment I have is the gas mileage. I rarely see it over 19 mpg and they've had it since September, so it's been broken in.
