Re: Nsap's 2009 Focus SEL

Congrats on your new car. I do think that you should take the GM logo from the pictures, it just doesn't seem right. Focus is a good choice of car though.

Re: Nsap's 2009 Focus SEL

Good purchase, nsap. My hockey coach bought himself a Focus Coupe a month or two ago, and he loves it. How's the fuel economy?

And to darndot, at least he bought a Ford. He could've really gone to the dark side and bought a corolla. A lot of die-hard GM fans have owned different cars in the past. We had a Mercedes Benz 280SE in the 80s and early 90s. In fact, it was the first car I ever rode in, took me home from the hospital after I was born.

Re: Nsap's 2009 Focus SEL

Congratulations Nick! What a nice looking car. I got a chance to go check out a Focus at the Ford dealer a few days ago; I really liked it along with the Flex. Ford is doing good things lately!

Re: Nsap's 2009 Focus SEL

CONGRATS, Nsap!!!

Love the color combination - makes your Focus look like a mini-Executive ride quite rich-looking
(didn't realize the leather interior had such nice stitching detail on the doors!
...hmmm, think I'm repeating myself )

Re: Nsap's 2009 Focus SEL

Congrats on the new Focus! It looks really nice, especially in that color. The interior looks nicely finished as well and the leather has nice stitching. It certainly looks better than the Corolla's plain jane plastic interior.

I don't think there's anything wrong with looking at other brands. When I was getting my Grand Prix I looked at everything from Chrysler to BMW. If anything, looking at other brands helped me realize why I like GM so much. Like GM, I think Ford is really making a big turnaround and their products are a lot better than they used to be and they certainly look and feel more premium than they did before.

Anyway, congrats on the new Focus, I think it's a great car and I wish you all the best and many miles with it.

P.S. Keep us updated on how you're enjoying it!

Ever seen the tundra's air intake thingy in front?
That's not real either.

Looks really comfortable, nice buy! I always like Fords in that dark grey colour and it looks great here (as usual).

Why not a Cobalt? Jw, but how can you beat best in class power and fuel milage? Focus' interior is of better quality, but the exterior is IMO humiliating. Not that the Cobalt is much better, it's just not so....well out there. To each his own I suppose.

The Focus's feature content is far superior to the Cobalt. As is the ride and handling. I also had no desire to own a car that was designed for the market 4 years ago.

I knew they were fakes but I was never a big fan of the way the vents are on the focus (I prefer it faux vent free) other than that it looks decent
