**New Pics Added**Nsap's 2009 Focus SEL

Well after waiting 9 weeks...my Focus SEL came in today!!!

What it is:

2009 Focus SEL Sedan
Exterior: Sterling Grey Metallic
Interior: Charcoal

Options:

*Sony audio system with 8" sub
*Moonroof
*Remote Start
*ABS Brakes with Stability Control
*Automatic Transmission

It has every option available plus a couple dealer-installed accessories.

(The chrome mirrors and door handles)

(Ford was smart and added headrests in the rear for 2009!)

(New stitching on the door)

So far I LOVE IT! The sound system is one of the best I have heard...it kills my G6's Moonson system...which I have always thought was good. I'd say the sound system rivals, maybe betters, Lincoln's 14-speaker THX system.

Also, SYNC is awesome. Enough said.

Expect a full review soon!!

Congrats! I was going to ask what you thought of SYNC and Ambient lighting.

Yeah. I really had no desire to own a manual commuter car. If I get a manual, it is going to be something for fun...like a CTS or G37.

Plus I was shooting for a little better resale value.

I don't understand. How can you want to be an administrator of GMI ,and own something besides a GM product? Something is not quite right with that.

At least he's driving a domestic... unlike some other GMI admins.

I have no problem with this purchase (not that I seriously think he's looking for my approval or anyone else's).

I'm a car fan first and foremost. I will not buy a GM product just for the sake of buying GM. I'm not a blind fanboy...never have been. As and admin, I don't have to be oblivious to GM; thinking they are wonderful. Not to mention I still own a GM product (2006 G6 GTP), and have every intent on replacing the G6 with a GM product.

And, frankly, after the Equinox mess, I have every right to try another brand. GM is lucky I have not written them off for good after that POS.

There is nothing like a new car, especially one with that many options! Congratulations. I'm looking forward to hearing more about Sync.

You are GMI's fearless leader so to speak. I see some of the diehard fans being slow picked off one by one, and it is just sad to see another one go to the way side.

I would have marched up to GM Headquaters with Ming, but he too has been picked off.

There are not to many left to hold the banner high.

Maybe that is a sign GM is doing something wrong, no? I was so THRILLED when the Astra came over; I was convinced that was going to be my commuter. Well, GM half-baked the poor car and I did not like it. What is a guy to do? Then sit the 2009 Focus SEL that was exactly everything I wanted.

I, among others, are still diehard GM fans (look at my garage, office, etc...where GM stuff is EVERYWHERE). Some of us just need a taste of something different from time to time. This is the first non-GM product I have ever owned.
