New family car

...And it's the fastest car in the driveway. I'm not sure if that's sad or ironic. Maybe both. :p

(not actual car)
Hyundai Entourage SE, Premium Pkg
South Pacific Blue/Gray

Looks just like this one, except it's not Canadian: http://www.canadiandriver.com/testdr...7entourage.htm

Great value, and very nice to drive. More comfortable than our old Montana. That 3.8L V6 is one nice motor. Plenty of power.

Re: New family car

Congratulations. My pick of the minivans would be the Entourage too. Congratulations again.

Re: New family car

Thanks...I personally think the Sienna is the best overall van out there, but the dealers around here aren't too good and the Sienna's not the value the Entourage was. If we had a Sienna it'd probably be just an LE with manual air, one power door, wheel covers, less warranty coverage, less power and safety features, no rear parking sensors or heated seats, rear drums, etc...much more basic. (I just convinced myself listing that...) The main thing that the Sienna has that the Hyundai doesn't is the MUCH tighter turning radius. I think the rest of the car makes up for it though. It doesn't have to compete just on price, it really is a great minivan.

Re: New family car

Entourage is not only the best minivan value available, it's also the safest. Congrats!

Another advantage. A big change from our old Montana!
A cool feature on the headrests is that they ratchet forward and backwards. I'm sure there's other cars like that, I just found it really cool.

Heated cloth seats...another thing more manufacturers need to start doing more often.

Hyundai has a 660W Infinity Logic7 Surround Sound system with in-dash 6-disc CD changer, 12-channel digital amplifier, 13 speakers, that's optional on SE and Limited models.
