Re: My New Car Was Built Yesterday!

Many thanks y'all. You guys are all really making me feel like a somebody.

I'm guessing that the car will land sometime in the next week or so, and I've asked that my dealer call me just as soon as does so I can drop everything and rush out to keep it company.

Because we are currently in the snow and slush of winter, I'll be having it towed back to my house from the dealer. Regrettably it will bump my Tahoe, sniff-sniff, out of the garage and onto the driveway to fend for itself in the weather.

I hope to have some pictures for you just as soon as it arrives, so please bear with me during these days of anticipation.

Thanks,

Re: My New Car Was Built Yesterday!

I just got a call from the dealer to say that it's here! I'm just leaving from work now to go to the dealership.

Re: My New Car Was Built Yesterday!

It's here now in my garage and I have pictures to share... but they all exceed the 488 kb size limit for .jpg attachments. Can anyone suggest a way for me to post them here?

Thanks,

Aaaah.... The DTS is so comfortable.... I love them. I want one. Maybe in 2010, and my father will need a new car?

Re: My New Car Was Built Yesterday!

That just looks Cadillac. Congratulations. What colour is it? It looks like a metallic battle ship grey.

The colour is called Cognac Frost Tricoat. It was only offered at the end of the 2007 model year and at the begining of the 2008 model year.

You're right, it kind of looks like primer grey that has a gold tinted clear coat.

After owning two black cars and two navy blue ones, I wanted something in a very light colour. My first choice was White Diamond - but this is my father's colour. So Cognac Frost was the next best choice for me.
