Re: My First Car =]
Cool car. I think the G6 looks best in black (as do "most" cars). My first car was a 1990 Chevy Beretta that my grandmother (the original owner) gave me in 2001, which had a 3.1L V6 with 1 dead cylinder (so it ran like crap and was dirt-slow), a bad steering rack that grinded with every turn of the wheel, 4 bald "original" tires & non-functional A/C. So I think you came out pretty good in comparison. Congrats.

Re: My First Car =]
Best of Luck with your new car. My third car was a 1973 Pontiac Grand Prix. Before that I had 2 Chevys; an Impala and a Camaro. By the way, the dashboard and on the console in the Grand Prix was African Crossfire Mahogany, one of the nicest GM interior I have experienced. The only dash that was better was Dean Martin's Stutz Blackhawk (also derived from the Grand Prix).

Re: My First Car =]
congrats and a good choice for a first car. I actually still have my first car which is a gold 2001 Malibu LS with the 3.1 liter V6. Its a great daily driver and it gets me to my classes at Macomb Community College and also to Chrysler HQ and Ford proving grounds as well (I'm a avid freelance photographer when I'm not posting here but i do post some of my pics here once in a while). Anyway good choice on the color as well just remember to keep it clean because even though black is technically considered by some to be a classy color its also just as big of a dirt magnet as a white car is. Two questions though what engine do you have and do you have a monsoon system? some of your pics are on the blurry side but overall good purchase and I hope the car stays out of trouble.

Congrats on the car. It's like the one from the beginning of Die Hard 4.

Re: My First Car =]
That Monsoon sound system is pretty damn good. I rented an '06 GTP with it and I loved cruising around with the sunroof open and the stereo cranked.
Oh, as for cleaning products, the Meguire's line is great, but more important than that is the quality of the towels, wash mitt, ect. You want to use clean microfiber stuff to help keep the scratches away. If you're really wanting to get into it try the Autopia forums. Black is beautiful, and with the right cleaning products (Zaino!) it's not too horrible to keep clean.
