My camaro
well since everyone has got there cars on here, here is my ongoing project.
83 camaro, purchased as a roller from my friend who has owned it for several years, and did most of the work to it. including having the upholstery redone. he did the suspension work and installed the rear end. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() hopefully i will get my engine soon, engine builder told me before christmas, i dont have an official build sheet on it, but i know of the items it has 350 bored .030 over. 10.5:1 compression 4 bolt mains eagle crank eagle rods balanced complete rotating assembly JE SRP aluminum flat top pistons 1 piece main seal comp cams hydraulic roller camshaft with .580 lift cloyes double roller timing chain cloyes adjustable timing gear aluminum timing cover- 2 piece air flow research heads - aluminum 195 eliminator heads, ARP fasteners in entire engine heads are studded with ARP fasteners harland sharp roller rockers with 1.6 ratio hamburger cast aluminum oil pan 8qt. edelbrock victor JR intake manifold Pro-form 750 CFM double pumper carb edelbrock fuel pump edelbrock water pump Hooker super comp ceramic coated 1 7/8" primaries 3" collectors warlock exhaust cutouts turbo 350 trans, upgraded with heavy duty components coan 8" converter with 3500 stall moser engineering ford 9" with 4.56 gears 33 spline axles wilwood rear disc brakes - 4 piston calipers hotchkis rear control arms hotchkis adjustable panhard bar energy suspension bushings adjustable torque arm, cant remember who its made by Koni adjustable struts subframe connectors- welded in driveshaft loop mickey tompson 10.5 ET street radials weld racing prostar rims items to go on car- tubular K member tubular a-arms wilwood front disc brakes steering rack, get rid of the steering gear -6 aeroquip lines from trans to cooler- have them made, just need installed line lock |

Awesome. All of GM's weakpoints on the F-Body have been addressed. I plan to do the same but more of a street/track car once I get a hold of a Camaro. Long time F-Body fan but haven't owned or driven one

Wow pretty cool man, it's not every day that you see a clean Camaro of that vintage. Liking that colour and sounds like it's gonna have a great drivetrain when you get it done.

thanks, i hope it runs good at the strip. i want it to appear stock, on the outside so, people can pull up to me in there little rice burners, and get there ass handed to them

I just happen to have a spare tranny laying around I'll sell you, cheap!!!!! It shifts REALLY HARD, and sometimes not at all!

^^^yeah, having all your gears in working condition is for novices! It takes a real man to drive with only 2 forward gears(and no reverse)!!!
