My 1993 Ford Tempo GL :D

Not the coolest car ever created but it gets my butt around without a fuss and runs the very best. These were taken this summer after i detailed it from top to bottom. Wash, polish, wax, wheels, tires, glass, seats, carpet and the list goes on.

Re: My 1993 Ford Tempo GL :D

Here is some more pics of her, i did some minor body work to it this fall with my dad, added some ford seat covers, cold air intake, new tires etc... Just needs some new mud guards and that's about it. Hope yah like it, the car is a 1993 and has 273000 Kilomters on her and there is no real body work done except in the bottom corners near the rear wheels and the paint is all original, plus i live in eastern canada. Home of bad winters and rust

Re: My 1993 Ford Tempo GL :D

Nice investment!

I owned one a few years back (upgraded from an '89 Topaz to the '92 Tempo v6). A fun little car, until i met a rav4 at an intersection downtown:

No major injuries, considering it was a 60mph impact - my front-corner to her front corner - so figure about 40mph overall.

She held up well, though. Unfortunately, i spent all of that morning fixing nagging electrical issues (door lock switches, speaker wiring, etc) only to end up like that later that afternoon.

My Dad's Ranger has held up considerably well given its age.

The Tempo was a decent car, though I didnt care for the automatic. Yours looks to be in darn good shape, must really have been taken care of!

Re: My 1993 Ford Tempo GL :D

I've only been in a Tempo a few times and it wasn't a bad little car, but the V6 is definetly the engine to get in these cars.

I tried XM before, hated it. My uncle's sirius system is much better, he has it in his International 9900I series transport. Howard stern is god so that's why i'd choose it not to mention NHL is on it.

Bose, i don't like their car audio. There is much better out there sorry. If i wanted a good sound system id be buying alpine.

Are you trying to make me feel bad or make me feel jealous that your super awesome silverado has it and my 12 year old tempo doesn't.... If so, get some help.

Plus if you can't see the bucket seats in the car, yah must be blind. Did you miss the console shifter?

Plus are yah ever going to give up man?

Re: My 1993 Ford Tempo GL :D

They both have been here since around the late summer/early fall. I doubt howie will be the death of sirius, is actually safer now on satellite radio then regular radio.
