Re: Just Picked Up The Gxp

The GXP rocker panels and front fascia look great (minus that droopy grille), but the rear fascia with the vertical slats, just looks clumsy. It's a shame because parts of the GXP package really enhance the car, while others bring it down. It would be nice to be able to build a custom GXP with the cool rocker panel trim, normal-size spoiler and the GT's front fascia with the new chrome grille and lower intake trim pieces. Better yet, just put a normal grille on the GXP front fascia!

Re: Just Picked Up The Gxp

I'm really digging the GXP you got....

How do YOU like it?

Congrats.. Great looking car.. Really sharp.

I bet it runs great (even though your probably still in the breakin period..)

Have fun with it.

I rolled 252 miles todayI sure get a lot of heads turning and even the cops are starting to get attracted to me.The 3.6 is so quiet compared to my old 3900. I was thinking about getting the catback exhaust gm offers.

Re: Just Picked Up The Gxp

Looks awesome. There's one just like yours at the GM dealer up the street from me and I think it looks way better in person than it does in pictures. Enjoy your new G6 GXP!

Re: Just Picked Up The Gxp

Well on some exciting news I got my tax refund and I decided to buy the catback exhaust gm offers. I paid $793 thru gmpartsdirect.com. It's supposed to be delivered Friday and Tuesday I'm heading over to the dealer for the install Thanks everybody for the compliments. I'm still enjoying the 6.

Re: Just Picked Up The Gxp

. Thanks for posting the photos..I was just checking them out again..

I really like the styling of the GXP package..I think it makes the G6 really cool looking.

Takes the car right to the edge but not too far.

The exhaust is something you as the owner will really enjoy.

Just be cautious not to get too many tickets ..

The police will certainly hear you coming and going..

Gotta love it!

Let us know how you like it.

JB

Wow, very nice. The G6 GXP looks much better in real life photos than it does in media photos. Congrats on your GXP! How is it that your black car is nice and shiny during winter in Wisconsin???? I know Wisconsin winters, they are much like Indiana winters.....SALT LADEN!

I have a second car. I purchased it this past July 2002 Saturn SC2 coupe one owner with 38,000 miles. I'm about to roll 49,000 in it any day now. Been a good runner besides a $1000 sunroof modeule that decided to crap out 3 days after I had the car and the keyless remote I had to replace because that no longer worked along with a leak on the driver side the car runs like a champ. The main reason I got the second car is because I commute to school which is about 140 mile trip everytime I go and my 1.9 gets good gas mileage

Re: Just Picked Up The Gxp

^^^ Thats cool, I have always been a fan of the SC's. A friend back in high school had a black SC2. It was pretty cool for what it was, one of the few cars that size to have leather and such!

Once you get up as far as Steven's Point, they tend to use sand on the roads instead of salt. Though I'm not sure that Steven's Point uses sand.

Once again, very nice.
