GMCSonoma bought a 1993 Roadmaster!

I was thinking station wagon for some reason. Now you just need some 24" dubs on that thing.

Re: I bought a Roadmaster!

Jeez, it looks brand new!

Congrats, Pete!

I remember when Car and Driver tested the '04 LT1 Roadmaster. It would go 104 in 4th, 104 in 3rd, and 102 in 2nd. Said that it hit it's 104 mph speed limiter like a dog hitting the end of it's leash.

This must be one fine long-distance cruiser.

Re: I bought a Roadmaster!

Congrats! The Bonneville wasn't big enough, eh? I have a friend who owns one. He loves the car, but it has been unreliable because of many small problems. I'm sure it will be a great car for you based on the type of vehicles you like. The car looks like it's in great shape, and that color looks great on the Roadmaster.

My Bonneville is gone....I sold it...

I bought this from a new car dealer in Illinois. 51K miles...

It is a 1993...350 TBI V8 2.56 axle ratio...goes about 1300 rpm @72MPH

I like that era of Buicks... they did what a Buick was supposed to do. Enjoy! Can't wait to hear a report of the first road trip!

Re: GMCSonoma bought a 1993 Roadmaster!

Congrats! Looks like it was well-loved and well-cared for by its previous owner. I love the 4th gear ratio...what kind of highway economy can you get with it? Must be pretty good.

Nice choice! She's in great shape, much better than mine. I love my LT1 but those truck motors were no slouches.

Re: GMCSonoma bought a 1993 Roadmaster!

GMC, congratulations on the new car. I've always liked the roadmaster a great deal...from the very first day I saw one on the road. Even though my tastes have changed now, at one point, that car used to be one of my favorite designs. It looked classy back then and it still has that graceful, elegant look now.

Very few miles for a car that's 14 years old and it looks very clean. Enjoy the new ride!
