LOL!

Yeah, I suspect it would ... or even a '95 or '96 SS, eh?

But, dangum ... I really like those late '70s Caprices. A couple friends who are into the used police car scene, keep telling me though I need to get a 9C1 "bubble" Caprice. Er, no. I'd rather have the '89/'90 box version...but, I still prefer the '77-'79 look .

And, darndot ... yeah, that Buick isn't as bubbly as the Caprice of that era.... That certainly wouldn't be a bad option, either ... though, talk about me pimpin' . he he!

Ignore them they are most likely Buick traditionalists that have not entered the 21st century yet. Anyway I saw a few roadmasters earlier today and they are nice cars.

They do make stick on ports.

I just got called from the radiator shop. My radaitor is cheese. Swiss cheese that is. I just ordered a new one. I also twisted off the bottom oil cooler line. That was pricey too.

I saw some @ JC Whitney last time I passed Utiac, IL on my way to St Louis last month....

I twisted the bottom line as well...I ended up buying a tranny coooler at the same time & installed that, and just cut the end off the old line & viola!!! Good as new!!!

Ouch.

But, even so, once all of that is replaced ... it will be WELL WORTH it .

Re: darndot's 92 Caprice Wagon

It is alive!!!!!

What a story. I could only get the oil cooler line from my local Chevy dealer. The radiator was just a little different. I had some rubbing issues with the fan shroud. I had to put a smaller battery so the radiator overflow would work right.

Now I have a hiss in the dash, and it only blow heat from the vents. O Brother.

Re: darndot's 92 Caprice Wagon

I love the vista view or whatever the call it on the Roadmasters. I have a love hate relationship with the car right now. I have already sunk $300 into the car. Yuck. That could have went for impala rims.

If I even thought about bring home another car my wife would do very bad things to me. Always like looking, but now I am going to have to clear my internet history.

I look all the time at stuff. She doesn't understand. To her, you buy a car drive it for about 160,000 and then buy a new one. Trading cars drives her crazy, but I still lover her.
