Arrived and taking delivery soon: 2009 chevrolet cruze VCDi diesel

Well, as usual, 6-8 months has to be my norm of changing my workhorses as I drive, drive and drive just too much that it feels like I am taking too much out of it. The Honda city is the latest victim of it. At the time I am writing this,I have driven this for more than 70,000 kms is just 6 months and quite tired of it (wife's Fiat linea meanwhile has done only 41,300 kms, so no point selling that.)

So today, sold it for a good sum of amount and looked at the Cruze in my nearest Chevrolet showroom. Was impressed with the style, 1991 cc 150 bhp diesel CDI engine, sunroof, all features regarding comfort and safety at a competitive price (expected).

16" wheels are the only choices here due to our road conditions. I liked this shade of atlantis blue, so decided on this colour. Once the car launches on 12th October, hopefully the car will be with me by 15th or 17th.

Should I go for this shade? Or any other opinion?

Some pics:

That is a nice colour Indica. I thought you had a nano? Or was that someone else in your family? I'll be interested to hear what you think of the Cruze. Good to see India gets the 2.0 rather than the 1.6. Have fun

Today I went to check another brand new car unloaded off truck in the stockyard. Hopefully this will become my new workhorse.

I am not impressed with that big exhaust pipe poking out of the body but who cares when you have 1991 cc 150 BHP diesel with 336 NM torque at your disposal?

With the heat in India if the car has a car cover you may get the wiper blades sticking to the glass - or they were just about to wash the windscreens.
I think the blue really suits it too.

My parents have a component manufacturing business and me and my wife work in Tata-Fiat JV, dealer development handling the entire country's dealers, so it requires a whole lot of travelling.

The fiat 500 is a sort of weekend getaway small car, its just covered about 7800 kms in one year.

Automotive components or other sorts?
So you cover the whole of India -wow what a territory. Does the Tata-Fiat JV cover Chevy as well. I thought you might have a nice new Jaguar!
