I thought the same thing until I rode in a few 90s Rivs. The interior is not at all photogenic, but it's suprisingly nice in person. And I'm not normally one to defend GM interiors.

Looks nice. By the way, you need to wash your engine bay.

Nice.....the Riv is one of just a handful of reasons (the others being Toronado, Mark VII/VIII, Cougar.....) why I love personal-lux 2 doors

That is a fine looking autmobile and def. american in its styling (can you tell its the first time I have seen one?). Looks like a cool cruiser.

Re: 1996 Buick Riviera (Now With Pics!!!!)

The Riviera's always been a nice personal luxury coupe. It's too bad that the segment basically withered away and GM's basically eliminated all of their midsize/full-size coupes like the Riviera, Grand Prix, Monte Carlo, Toronado and Eldorado.

Thanks, probably a few hundred since ive gotten it to fix up the plugs, shocks, tires, and other assorted running costs. I'm looking into a pulley swap this summer too.

How's the steering in those? Does it feel pretty good or is it the really really easy overboosted -Buick-style where you can park with a pinky and cruise on the freeway with a thumb and a pointer?

Re: 1996 Buick Riviera (Updated)

Your interior almost matches mine.....

My seats aren't quite as dark, but the carpeting, dash & everything else looks pretty similar, including the wood on the console

I love those 'porthole style' gauges you got though
