Wrath of the Insane Thomas Jefferson
Hello all,
Hopefully, some of you guys saw this when it originally aired. I did, and I felt your pain as you sat through "Tim and Eric's Awesome Show Great Job" to see it. After the initial live-action jarring, I've found "Saul of the Mole Men" to be fairly entertaining, but this episode completely outdid the rest of the show. If you saw it, and you're still following, you know it was worth the wait. You saw the preceding scene, which was a bunch more "Insane Thomas Jefferson," but it's not on YouTube, and this is a pretty good dose. I think it's funnier than the beginning of ATHF: Movie Film for Theaters. If you're intrigued: This clip wins some pretty heady awards in my book. One is for taking the concept of "Insane Thomas Jefferson" at least a full order of magnitude beyond anything comparable since Robocop 2 (I'm thinking the scenes of the failed "robocop II" experiments). I loved Robocop 2. This clip/episode also takes rudimentary historical relevance to a new and completely hilarious extreme. In this case, it's a flashback as told by one of the Mole Men, who visited Ben Franklin in the past. For some reason, and I'm not sure why but that's not the point and part of why it's funny, the crazed Insane Thomas Jefferson attacks Ben Franklin. "THE IGNEODES!!!!!" "Murderman!" If you're skeptical: If you find anything in life remotely stupid or idiotic, you don't have the sense of humor to deal with this clip. I must emphasize that you can't unwatch this.
