that look awesome... the makers of that robot should market that to amusement parks with the automakers not looking to invest in manufacturing robot due to their economic situation

Haha fun! There is a ride like that at the amusent park 'Futuroscope' near Poitiers, France... I was there last summer. It's a hoot! It didn't move quite as quick as that, but close. They call it 'Dance with Robots':

Yup, KUKA Robotics mass produces exactly this - a robot arm with a pair of seats attached to the end. Before you ride the ride, you get to pick out all the flips, rolls, and spins you want to be sent flying through. It's pretty crazy.
