Re: Typical Yaris Driver

Just because someone drives a Yaris doesn't mean they're dumb. I've seen very bad GM, Ford, and more drivers.

You are SO right...here the Hummer drivers, running red lights and stop signs, failing to signal or use their rear view mirrors, weaving lane to lane as they yap on their surgically implanted cell phones, amaze me with their self absorption, stupidity and sheer disregard for the rest of us on "their" roads as they suck up all that Middle Eastern oil, with the obligatory yellow ribbon magnet slapped on the backs of the behemoths.

Re: Typical Yaris Driver

Did he jump on the car to protect it from being damaged or did he try to stop it?

Either way, I'd say the problem is between the car and the gate.

Re: Typical Yaris Driver

I believe that was a STICK car and he was trying to not have to get out of the car, open the gate, walk back and then drive (and maybe get out again to close the gate)..

he released the hand brake and thought he would watch how his car would slowly roll by and then whe would just jump in ..

Idiotic to say the least ..

No wonder car insurance is expensive.

People today should realize driving is a privilege, not a "right"...and this twit's license should be shredded...

Actually there was evidence found that there have been more Yaris' in collisions (with driver at fault) in it's first model year in the U.S. than any other vehicle ever produced within it's first model year over the past 25 years. I'm not making that one up. It was significantly higher then the previous..I guess..record holder, Which was like an early 80s Escort..maybe an 84 er something.

If I can find the link, ill post it..I think it was on Jalopnik er Leftlane.

Yes, but you're a Scion owner, so you can't see the humour. It's like this:

Q: Why did the Toyota owner cross the road?
A: Impossible. Toyotas cannot cross roads.

See, not funny, unless it's a 'Yota involved; then, the funny little car and its funny little driver make a funny little joke.

Ho ho.

You're so right. Only Hummer drivers talk on cell phones while driving, fail to signal, and run red lights.

Luckily, Hummer drivers don't get out of the Hummer while it's in gear, and stand between it and the garage door. And luckily for the moron Yaris driver, it's a fold up Yaris, and not a Hummer.

Re: Typical Yaris Driver

First, you don't know exactly what happened, so you can't call the guy an idiot. Secondly, he could have been seriously injured in doing this, and poking fun at someone else's misfortune is a serious character flaw, and an indication of deep-seeded self-security issues. And thirdly, it's not only patently offensive, but erroneous, to categorize Yaris drivers in such a way.

HAHAHA! the worst thing is Toyota drivers most of who wear gloves and hats when they drive a car, do similar stupid things on the road which is very dangerous
