Re: Rockin Roll does it hide subliminal messages?

What is this? The 70s?

KISS = Knights in Satan's Service...
Bonnie Tyler = leader of some Satan-worshipping witches...
Beatles = left countless bits of proof that Paul is dead...
Marilyn Manson = oh don't even get me started...

Ever notice its almost exclusively Americans (I'll be polite and not mention republicans, the religious right, or Midwesterners) who invent this sort of stupid s*** ??

Next we'll hear that...

Yael Naim is head of Al-Qaeda...
Linkin Park are responsible for the Mortgage Meltdown...
Justin Timberlake shot JFK...

Re: Rockin Roll does it hide subliminal messages?

My audio editor (CoolEdit) will reverse sound tracks.

Stairway to Heaven has multiple Satanic references.
You can see the addition in the sound wave.
The wave amplitude is visibly higher at that particular point.
You can hear it at normal speed.

no thanks.

Um. no.
I call b.s.
I wouldn't have written about it unless I had reversed the song myself.
I didn't believe it either, but when I reversed it, the lyrics play loud and clear.

The passage I wrote about is at 3:20 in the video you posted.
The speech is quite intelligible.
And btw, this isn't the first time this has been looked at....

I think if you play "Shes real fine my 409" backwards it says
"Buy a Prius"

Re: Rockin Roll does it hide subliminal messages?

we did this in psychology class last year. Some songs do contain clear and audible messages. Some are a far stretch and i dont believe all of them ,but some, its clearly unmistakable.

Re: Rockin Roll does it hide subliminal messages?

The only obvious one I know of is that Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon syncs up w/ the Wizard of Oz. It doesn't qualify as a subliminal message, but still cool.
