All IFS systems are worthless, they belong under cars and two wheel drive trucks.

Re: Offroading in a stock FJ

That was stupid on so many levels. Offroading is not fun when you have to have 10 people around guide you and you break your vehicle going over a hill. Whatever. I'll let the people who love to waste their money have at it and I'll laugh MAO watching it on Youtube.

What.... you mean Toyota's break???

Sorry, had to do it. But I do agree, SFA are a must for serious offroading.

Re: Offroading in a stock FJ

If I drove my old S10 on a gravel road I'd break a torsion bar mount or an idler arm. The mechanics at my local shop back in Colorado would just laugh and ask for my wallet.

Trucks need SFA's!

Re: Offroading in a stock FJ

I have a problem with spending $30,000 plus, and try to tear it up. That is what an old beater jeep, blazer, samurai is for.

No joke. They were off-roadfing for YouTube... you even hear them talking about putting the video on the internet. That's dumb.
