I was feeling patriotic. I wanted to show how American made cars have been a part of all our lives: from everyday people doing everyday things, to the assembly line workers, to Roosevelt, Eisenhower, the Kennedys, Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Robinson, and other American icons who all relied on and desired American cars. The timeline was from the early 1900s to the early 1960s. After that the cars got ugly, so I stopped. The focus is mainly the '40s and '50s.
I think I'm going to make one for just GM cars over the course of its 100 years. The '80s and '90s is going to be tough, though.

Re: Made a pro-US Automaker slideshow
Nice work. I think you should definitely do a clip like this on the history of Americans and GM cars. Just skip the 80's and early 90's (or at least most of it). Then finish it off with a shot of a customer and their 08/09 model.

Re: Made a pro-US Automaker slideshow
it's touching, even for a foreigner. Good job, I hope it becomes a hit on youtube. You can always add a small anti-toyota touch

Re: Made a pro-US Automaker slideshow
The '80s should be easy. There was a lot of cool advertising in the '80s and as bad as most people think the cars were, I, along with some others, love the '80s and the cars of the day. GM sold beaucoup automobiles in the '80s too.
Awesome job on your OP vid! |

Good job.
Dad always reminiced about his 54 Buick 2 door. Yellow and Black. He was always "Disappointed" that he couldn'd afford the forth port hole though. |
