If you read the making of the commercial, the tires did infact go up hil.. They were all counter-weighted, etc... to do that.
Everything you see in the commercial actually happened. There were no computer graphics, or trick photography. Just a very elaborate set-up that had to be repeated many times, before they actually got it perfect.

Still pretty damn cool.

you can simply say domino principle, that way everyone knows what you're talking about.
heard that the clip was made from two parts tho... also, a british studio made it, not "honda". honda just acted like sony on this one: invest $$$$$$$ in comercials, the product is allready too good for any customer...
