Question Guess the car

OK, I'm new. Been lurking for a couple of months and I live in good old blighty!!(England for those of you who don't know)

Anyway, apologies if this has been done before, but I thought it might be nice to have a car guessing game. I hope you like it. (I also hope this is in the right place)

Pretty simple: I post the first car, you try and guess it and the person who gets it right posts a new car for you lot to guess!!

What is this car?

Actually we already do have a section for this. http://www.gminsidenews.com/forums/f...splay.php?f=45
There are usually monthly fourms made for this. Welcome to GMI! Hope to see you around.

Re: Guess the car

To this American, it looks like the love-child of a Dode Viper and a Pontiac Solstice.

I saw a limosine version of one of these once. It drives around here every once in a while.

Re: Guess the car

It's an Excalibur. A Mark IV, if I'm not mistaken.

I'll give it to you.
This model is actually the 1987 Tiffany Zimmer, not the Classic or Excalibur per say. I see these weekly at Old Town here, and could get each of them confused pretty easily.

Re: Guess the car

I believe that is correct. There's also one that comes round where I live sometimes, which is also a limo....

Oh yeah, the good old Tiffany, one of the most tasteless vehicles of the era before the Escalade came....

Re: Guess the car

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Zimmers. Remember the one that was built off a Fiero? It looked strange to have this compact coupe have an extra twelve inches of gaudy overhang front and rear.

Try this:

Re: Guess the car

It looks like a Moskvitch 407 or 403 with two-tone paint, fancy grille and a leaper! An early predecessor of the Kalita?

is there still a car guessing game somewhere on the forum? i just followed this link and couldn't find it. yes, i know this is a rather old post, so things could have changed. i could only find a guess this engine type of thread, and i'm afraid i wouldn't be any good at that.

Yes, the Zimmer Quicksilver was based on the Fiero, but it only had a little extra overhang on either end (the front being the chrome grille). The big difference was the added length between the front axle and the windshield.
