it was a Simpson's episode, where a movie company comes to Springfield to film Radioactive Man: The Movie.
Ranier Wolfcastle plays Radioactive Man, and Milhouse is Fall Out Boy.
In one scene, Radioactive Man is tied up and they were gonna pour acid down this vat where RM was. Milhouse was supposed to come in and rescue him before the acid got to RM.

And the director goes something like, "Now people, this is real acid we're pouring here, so for everyone's safety, you have to wear these goggles!"

So the director yells actions, they pour the acid, but Milhouse was having "personal issues" about his stardom and wasn't on the set for the scene to rescue RM... so RM puts on these goggles while the acid sweeps him away... and he's yelling "The Goggles do Nothing!" as the acid eats away his entire costume....
