I spotted a pic of a clay model proposal of a 4-door Mustang done around 1963 but Ford dropped this idea http://www.muscularmustangs.com/database/fourdoor.php

As for this Camaro Monza, it could give some ideas for the upcoming "Alpha", it could be a nice Pontiac, new Banshee anyone?

Honestly I'm indifferent to the idea of a 4cylinder Camaro so long as it's not some 100hp POS. The 260hp the 4cyl gets is more than the last Gen (or any Gen)'s 200hp V6.

As long as they make the V6 and V8, give those that want them their 4cyl's.

Mine will have a V8 though.

No problems. I have been very busy but did pop in while it was in the news threads for a quick read. Hey we got about 3,000 hits and made the Jalopnik top ten auto fools day jokes!!

Now they have been set up for another subtle one like the Lutz Retires one.

Re: GMI Exclusive: Camaro Monza Caught!

I always liked the Corvair especially the model called the Monza. Ralph Nader, destroyed a car with promise, maybe GM can redeem the name with this Camaro?

That's of course if it's real?
