Re: Flying Oldsmobile Prototype?

I've had my Camaro with all four wheels in the air at least once too...

Pretty sure that is not an Oldsmobile though..
Looks alot like a mid 80's Buick Regal... Though it is moving so fast it is hard to tell.

Yeah I thought it looked like a Buick too.

Re: Flying Oldsmobile Prototype?

Might not be an Olds, but it's no mid 80s Regal. Looks like more of the 70's model.

I've done it in my K-car. Not to the same degree as the video though. And you're high if you think that's a Regal. It's a LeSabre.

Re: Flying Oldsmobile Prototype?

^^^ It's a full-size coupe. No way is it a Regal, but the fronts do look similar. Full-size for sure, though.

Look at how big the back side window is and how wide it is when it's coming down.

Re: Flying Oldsmobile Prototype?

Did you notice how close the driver gets to the huge tree? Not smart.

Yeah, I wasn't sure about the Olds vs Buick thing, but it's funny to think that the cars were so similar that we even have to debate which brand it was. There's a lesson there somewhere.

Even more dangerous then that tree was taking a 25 year old full sized "land yacht" and putting it in the air... for those of us who drove these cars new.. they were not the best handling cars... the steering was "iffy" at best. the suspension collapsed over every little bump.

The way the car flies through the air "nose up" and lands on its rear bumper is also interesting... My camaro would always "pitch over" and land front wheels first... There must have been a lot of sand bags in the trunk. The walkie talkie etc... this looks a little bit more then some "good ol' boys" having fun.
