Other way around. Sorry, I thought I could attach more than one picture.

The big one is how most cases are built. Notice how it's just a simple square frame with some plastic tacked onto the front?

The attached picture is the Silverstone case. With that case the front panel is a part of the frame. It's much sturdier and looks 100 times better.

Here's a pic of the same Silverstone case, but in silver. It might be easier to see what I'm talking about.

yeah, it definitely looks better. if i were going to spend that kind of money i'd get a liquid cooled case (like this one) but that's just me.

Wish I could afford to drop that much on just the case.

I hear ya...but, a case like that you can re-use over and over again. Maybe upgrading the PSU every now and again....

A good case is worth the extra bucks...

I'm afraid of buying it. I might drop it on the way to a lan.

I think I'd actually cry.

Even without dropping it though cases get beaten up when lanning. All of my cases have "Battle scars". Desktops weren't meant to move.

If I had Heavy Metal though, I could drive it to lans

Just imagine the look on someone's face when they see your computer driving alongside your car...

When I take my Big Box out to my buddies house to play I always wrap it in a towel and then seat belt it in the front seat with me. Or the back seat. It gets as much treatment as one of my children.

They can move better then they use to since we do not have to "park" the hard drives anymore. I just make sure when I get somewhere I see if all the Cards are seated correctly. (including the ram chips too)

There's still the "Holding the tower in one hand and trying to open the door with the other" part that scares me. Luckily I haven't dropped a tower yet.

I sometimes forget that P4 dates back from 2000-2001. Yeah, I have a 2003 P4 computer, and it runs great. You just have to add some more memory, a better hard drive, and keep the computer clean; and you'll have a great running machine.

I do have to admit that I have a new dual-core laptop. But, I haven't used it for a couple weeks, you got to love the greatness of a dual-screen desktop.
