Fan of 57-59 Chevrolets? Check this out...

Sorry, it's in Portuguese, but this has to the wildest retro ride I've ever seen!

http://www2.uol.com.br/bestcars/un13/270-06.htm

If any Portuguese speakers care to properly translate the article for us...

The article says something about it being based on the C6 Corvette and has the 6.2L, 7.0L and the Supercharged 6.2L from the Corvette as engine options. Oh, it costs $135,000 USD. Thats all my limited Spanish could understand of the Portuguese article.

That's a strange one; '57 like front end, and a '59 like rear end.

You can read the full story in English here:

I think that I might have started a thread on this in April of last year.

I just love any car that has Dagmars.

I keep hearing about a possible new retro 57 Chevy being considered. I guess it might look a little something like this front the front...

eh' no worries, I have been known to 'repost' stull ALOT, plus it is hard to know what others may have posted it as, or under different name. Plus the search engine is rather lacking , not an problem w/ the site, just typical of vbulletin IMO

If you click on "cars" on their webpage, they have drawings of a "Stinger". That actually looks pretty cool! I like the retro C2 design but if they make it, that Split window has to go!

That's why I use google, as they let you search just within a specific web page. And there's no "four or more letters" restriction as there is through GMI's search function.

Pretty good tip, Buick61! I'll try that one text time.

BestCars news page is usually on the cutting edge, often beating some other reputable sources to the punch! A few Latin cognates aside, I can't read portuguese, so I had no idea if the article was about the car, or about it being offered in Brazil...

Do you search Gminsidenews, or Gminsidenews.com... and what ever you are looking for?
