Re: Eurovision 2008- Belgrade
Ukraine should win, just for how the singer looks.

What, you didn't think Verka Serduchka was hot?
![]() Anywho, I still haven't heard the last seven entries or so. Not having internet sucks.

Re: Eurovision 2008- Belgrade
Lithuania SUCKED! Oh my poor bleeding ears. There was one act (though I missed which country it was) that went on forever. Everytime they hit a breakdown, the audience would cheer and clap, then the band would start up again.
It sounded like they were singing , gas gas gas But I'm not sure. Unfortunately it was all I had time to see.

Re: Eurovision 2008- Belgrade
I think you meant Latvia - Lithuania sucked too, but in presentation rather than vocals. Latvia's high placing is a disgrace and proves too many six-year-olds are being left unguarded in the presence of mobile phones... I remember I've had the same impression with one of the songs, but I cannot remember which one was it... wait, I guess it was France, with Sebstien Tellier's "indie" antics not quite finding much understanding with the ESC antics (the studio version of the song is quite nice, though).
Still, France evaded the dreaded last place and left it to two other Big Four countries - UK and Germany (singing perfectly in tune and totally out of tune, respectively), comforted in their sorrow by our humble entry joining them... |
