Chevrolet to Revive El Camino

DETROIT (Reuters) - General Motors has announced that it will leverage its Korean-built Chevy Aveo platform to resurrect the El Camino. A GM spokesman added that refinements to its product development process have allowed the El Camino to go from concept to production over one weekend.

The addition of the pickup bed, pictured below, employs "green" materials, which will satisfy the environmentalists. This project introduces Home Depot and Dewalt as Tier 1 suppliers to GM.
