cheap hydrogen?
This could make generating hydrogen for fuel cell cars a lot cheaper than any other way out right now.

Re: cheap hydrogen?
I will reserve final judgement until I see a better demonstration and some actual data, but I seriously doubt this will amount to anything. I can almost guarantee that the energy you have to put into it (i.e. the radio waves) is greater than the amount of energy you get out. On a basic level it is no different than electrolyzing water to get hydrogen (except in this case the hydrogen is immediately burned, so you get heat energy rather than hydrogen).
Whenever someone comes up with something that seems to break the 1st law of thermodynamics (conservation of mass and energy), it is always BS. However, I am excited by the possible cancer-killing process he has come up with. I don't know much about medicine but it looks promising to me. |

Re: cheap hydrogen?
well if you dont light the water on fire, it would just produce the hydrogen without burning it. Im sure if there was enough research put into it the efficiencies would be better. But using radio waves to extract the hydrogen seems like the best attempt so far from what i've read about this kind of technologies
