From what it looks like, the driver tried to pull away and put it in reverse instead of drive.

So many incompetent drivers out there.

Was this during or after the traffic stop (can't tell because I have no audio with the vid)? The turn signal coming on makes me think after which means it was probably a mistake. If it was during than its clearly on purpose.

Probably was still nervous after getting pulled over and wasn't thinking clearly.

I have a funny feeling he was quite POed with his ticket and just slammed his car into drive and hit the gas. Unfortunately for him... it was R instead of D. I'll also bet the cop dropped him like a sack of potatos.

If he was irritated by that first ticket, the second one must have caused him to have a seizure!

I'd have loved to hear the idiot explaining to his insurance agent how he managed this piece of idiocy.

This is nuts. It's hard to know if it was on purpose or accident though IMHO. I mean the guy used his turn signal like he going to merge into traffic......but then he just shifted to R? Odd, and then he keeps his foot on the gas too! lol
