Talking Bow to Ming, and Follow!

...to become a "follower"!

....of his new webserial fiction blog.

It's easy, if you have an existing Google, AIM, Yahoo!, Netlog, or OpenID account, you can follow the latest stories on my fiction blog that has bite sized chunks delivered on a weekly (or otherwise regular) basis. Hey, it won't cost you anything but your time, and I would get a lot out of your feedback.

"FOLLOW" (hopefully this long-arse URL works, if not see the link below, and look at the sidebar for "follow")

Why do I care? Well, I consider reader input when writing new parts to my online stories, and I'd like to have more than just hard-core Sci-Fi / Fantasy / Horror fiction geeks reading my work, and I figured you guys here at GMI are a broad spectrum of backgrounds. And if you're reading this, you probably already know who I am...

This is just a hobby of mine, but it's one I've had for decades. I have plenty of stories pent up, many partially written and a few already complete (actually a few NOVELS), but all are open to changes in direction as I revise and web publish them for all to read. Some stories may be entirely guided by you guys -- sort of interactively.

Anyway, you don't have to "follow" you can also just go directly to the site, maybe use another method of subscribing, or just add to favs and check every now and then.

I value the rich variety of people here at GMInsidenews, and would love to hear what you think of my fiction. And I figure why try to promote my site to total strangers when I know so many people here?

If you're interested in checking it out first, start here with my first story (actually the intro, and you can continue from there): The Burrowing of Fort Nadus, Intro.

Oh, and if you do join or comment with some totally different username, let me know who you are from GMI!

TIA!

Re: Bow to Ming, and Follow!

I've browsed a little. It's really not my genre, but I'm blown away with the quality of your work. Artwork and everything--I am impressed!
I'm going to check it out when I can devote some time to it. Don't worry, I'll give you an honest opinion.

Re: Bow to Ming, and Follow!

Thanks! That's all I ask.

I do have a few different genres I'll introduce, from an Old Time Radio-type "script" of a suspense/horror type "show" I wrote not too long ago, to "real world" fiction set in Japan, and other unrelated short stories.

So while the main thrust of the site is my fictional world of Hadanus (sort of a Sci-Fi/Fantasy feel), perhaps one of my other stories will appeal more to your favorite genres.

I've always wanted to say "Hey, I was a fan of his when he was a nobody!"

Re: Bow to Ming, and Follow!

I see you've updated it. You gotta tell us these things! I hope to have time to relax and finish it this weekend.

So far I've been truly impressed with your writing. And I love the surprises! Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to give you some quality input.

Re: Bow to Ming, and Follow!

Bravo!

When I first saw this thread I thought, "Oh, this will be good for a laugh." But your story was fantastic. And totally unpredictable. Your writing is RICHLY detailed, yet your story is fast paced and easily readable. Great dialogue too. I just can't do your work justice by commenting, so I'm going to stop now. But I can't wait to read more!

Get your ass published now. Seriously, you're truly gifted.

My only advice would be to redesign your site somewhat to better promote yourself and to lose some of the blog feel. Something like this: http://www.robertcrais.com/ (I think you could do better). But Keep your World of Hadanus intact--just make it easier to immerse one's self.

I hope you don't mind my commenting here as I read more of your stories, but I don't have any of those accounts set up just yet.

Again, get this published.
