Aurora HID Upgrade....in the works

Well both my headlights blew out...so I figured it would be time to do an HID upgrade on my Aurora. I purchased 2 sets (4 total bulbs). 1 Set for the Projector headlights, and 1 Set for the foglights. I have selected to go with 10,000K for a slight blue tint and increased brightness. I purchased the bulbs from Xentec lighting for a total price of $159.96. I will hopefully install them soon, and definitely take pics for you guys. I will also definitely be using the instructions posted here: http://aurorah.proboards47.com/index...ead=1177212609

I know GMI really wanted me to get HIDs, so I had to spring for em.

Here are pics of the parts so far:

definately post pictures of the lights when you get everything installed and running! Would love to see how it looks.

Re: Aurora HID Upgrade....in the works

the glare on the video is actually quite significant - that is not a good thing. otherwise - HID's are the way to go - I have them on my Mazda3 and despite those HID's being quite mediocre - I LOVE THEM - I cannot wait to upgrade to a car with a better projector/balast combo for the true effect.

I cannot even imagine owning a car without HID's now.

Re: Aurora HID Upgrade....in the works

Did you have a problem getting them working...over a week with no response?

Everything worked out great!
