Any country music lovers here?

I am sure if you are...you've heard of Taylor Swift. She's the new girl that sings "Tim Mcgraw". This girl is smokin!! She writes all of her songs and can sing pretty darn good.

http://www.taylorswift.com/

Listen to her and let me know what you think of her!

Re: Any country music lovers here?

I love country too. Taylor's debut single is good, and I appreciate the fact that she writes her own songs.

I like most country, but my favorite artists/groups are Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, George Strait, Dixie Chicks, Pat Green, Blaine Larsen, The Great Divide, and Cross Canadian Ragweed (sorta a southern rock/country sound).

Re: Any country music lovers here?

I love country music, though most modern country music is very generic and uninteresting with few disctinctive artists. Speaking of XM, why does XM10 America, which is supposed to be "classic country", suck SO BAD??!! Most of what they play is redneck beer-drinking, 'I love America' hee-haw crap! If I have to hear The Charlie Daniels Band one more time!!!!!

Re: Any country music lovers here?

I love country, I also like most other music, just not rap. She is a good singer, but I'm not a big fan of that song. Now Carrie Underwood is SMOKIN. lol

I alwasy listen to either 11 or 16, but 16 repeats a lot of the same stuff, while 11 plays pretty much all country music.

Re: Any country music lovers here?

My parts employees love country music, so I concede and change the radio station to it usually towards the end of the week...it's OK, but of the 3 country stations that we can tune in, 2 replay the same 20 songs all day long!!! I could really set a clock by the one station..."Let's Have Another Beer in Mexico" is on the radio...it must be 9am, noon, or 3pm!!!!!
On Mondays though...I play the 60's & 70's rock station instead...my radio, my department...My rules!!!!
