1985 Cadillac Seville on eBay

This car is perfect. I'd love to have it for the occasional weekend drive, cruise or car show.

Re: 1985 Cadillac Seville on eBay

Nice car! My favorite year for this series of K car is the 1981...they have the V8-6-4, which can be fixed by modding the TCC solenoid! I know of someone (a family friend) who has a 1981 Seville that's dark brown with a matching leather interior & alloy wheels...It's beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else hate those gas pedals that hinge at the bottom?

Ah, the HT4100, with "Digital Fuel Injection". What did this have, like 140 hp? Watered down smog compliant American horsepower at it's finest

I'm not a big Seville fan, love the old Eldo's though. The 4100 sucks. My dad went through 3 crankshafts in less than 40,000 miles on his. He'll never buy another GM again. Ever. Refuses to even ride in them.

I actually liked the bottom hinged pedal, but I'm weird that way...

Yes, the HT...the early ones were rough to be kind about it...by the end, they redeemed themselves, sort of...and GM say the light with the mill on RWD's by 1986...

Re: 1985 Cadillac Seville on eBay

The 4100 was crap and this car only has 135hp., but it's no daily driver. The '80s were (arguably) the worst years for Cadillac, but a like-new model from that era still has an effect on me.

I think the HT4100 was always crap, but the later HT4900 was much better. The 4900 still had head gasket issues though, if I'm correct. That lived on into the Northstars.

Wow, that's a new one...

I've been in a Cadillac store since 1990...never sold a crank for a HT...

now crank & rod bearings, .001 oversize cured the knock issue from being washed by the coolant leaking from the intakes...

Wow, if i had money, I would have a garage the size of a supermarket, and it would be littered w/ cars like this (low mileage creampuffs) throughout!! I like it, nice find.

HT's never had head gasket issues, intakes...yes...which were confused for cylinder head leaks! They did leak from the water pump & timing cover though...oil pan too.

Ah, intake leaks. That's what I was trying to think of.

Thanks.

I don't think any of the stitching is real. It's all molded plastic and vinyl.
