08 Malibu 2LT on ebay

Item 250180273510 ...

First real world pics I've seen of a 2LT - looks really nice in these pics. Interesting that with the HF engine option, the 18" rims are the old Malibu SS rims. While I hate the idea of using the old car's rims for an all new model, they do look nice on the car, IMO...Ultralux looks good, too.

Re: 08 Malibu 2LT on ebay

It never ceases to amaze me how much better GM vehicles look in real-life photos.

The profile looks like a much more expensive vehicle, I don't really like the taillights at all.

That 2LT Sport package is nice. You get the big engine and still can get the all-black leather interior. The LTZ has nicer wheels but you HAVE TO get the Brick/Black or the Cocoa/Cashmere interiors.

Re: First Malibu on Ebay

I thought I'd see the first Malibu ever built.

I was kind of dissapointed to see a late model sedan, but then I started looking at the pics. Nice car.

Re: First Malibu on Ebay

WOW I price a 2lt how I like it at 25K with the 6 speed and V6! Also unless I am wrong it has a power rear shade? Cadillacs don't have power rear shades:
Rear Power Package, includes (KV1) rear power center and (DE1) manual backglass shade

Or am I mistaken. Anyway I will drive one tomorrow and tell you guys how I liked it. the First of the year is my goal for a new car and I thought I was settled on the Saab again but I keep reading about creeks and rattles on them. Also unless things change I think the Astra may be to small for me...I will see. Anyway I am liking the Bu more and more lately.

Yeah the rims are ok. One good thing about the rims is that you don't have those ugly wheel weights where everyone can see them.

Re: 08 Malibu 2LT on ebay

Should have my first Malibu at Hendrick Chevrolet in NC ANY DAY now --- the car has been in transit for awhile now, other then that - I can't wait for them to start pouring in based off the interest that has already hit.

I saw the production process and quality that is going into these cars, and lets just say the hype behind them is for good reason.

Also, GM has never been one to directly "attack" competion. Hell, even degrade them at that - but be ready for call outs essentially to the competition.

Re: 08 Malibu 2LT on ebay

looks alright the interior feels to similar to the aura. i still believe that the best midsize interior is the 08 honda accord.

Yeah but sticky weights IMO wont balance your wheels out as nicely as the tack on weights. Despite their ugliness, cant beat the tack on weights.
