For better or for worse, the company’s midsize Legacy sedan -- and the related Outback station wagon -- has now gone through that same treatment...

What's the problem you're seeing?

There's a turbocharged GT version, as with the outgoing Legacy, but nothing sportier than that.

Weird. It's working fine for me, and I'm getting comments on another forum I posted the link.

If you're still having trouble, try getting to it through http://www.examiner.com/dc .

Re: Review: 2010 Subaru Legacy

Pretty lame IMO. I love driving my mother in laws 04 Liberty [nee Legacy] GT with all the windows and sunroof open (especially at night)

Liberty has just become another nobody. IM, it looks ugly from every angle except the flat profile. Definitely needs big wheels to look any good. And that interior! ugh. Plastic, plastic and more plastic. That centre console now resembles an early noughties desktop computer. Not pretty.

I hope it drives well though as I find the current gen to be plenty of fun, even in the non-turbo 5speed base model used vehicle I drove a few years ago (even though it had crappy tyres put on it by the dealer).

Don't forget to mention that the Legacy is the only midsize in its price range to offer an AWD/manual trans drivetrain. How did the CVT drive?

It was mentioned.

The CVT isn't bad; there's enough sound-deadening material that you don't have the Chrysler-like droning as you accelerate. The transmission's main benefit seems to be the great gas mileage, but it's not obtrusive while you're driving it.

Nah, probably not. If that happens I can see Vermont seceding from the Union.
