Yeah, don't let me off the hook, lol. I've posted some pics above, but I'll get some more tomorrow. Been busy all day planning a New Year's Party.

When we got it it was no where near that efficient. It's actually gotten better every month since we bought it. This trip it was the most efficient, allowing us to go more than 600km on a single tank! We filled up only twice there and back, for a round trip of more than 1200 kms (about 750 miles). And when we got back we still had 1/2 a tank. So, 1200 kms used about 120 litres.
That's good to hear. I've noticed the fuel needle is going down a bit too quickly, but I attribute all that to breaking it in. I assume it'll get better.

I don't think I have ever seen an Enclave in other other color than that brown-bronze color. Not saying it's bad, but they must make more of that color than any other.

Re: Just Bought Brand New 2009 Buick Enclave!!!

I've been pretty unimpressed with the Enclave based on GM press shots (hey, I'm 40,000 kms away. It's all I've got to go on ) but seeing that single shot of Zete's and hearing about the (relatively) commendable economy has impressed me no end.

Glad to see that America can still make a car for Americans (as opposed to trying to beat imports or copy europeans). Now we just need Americans to accept that these new products from the big 3 are built for them.

Re: Just Bought Brand New 2009 Buick Enclave!!!

If I was in the market for a 7-seat crossover, the Lambda quadruplets would be the only ones I'd consider. Of the four though, I think I like the Acadia's styling better. No doubt the Enclave is a great car though.

Sorry about that. I just wanted to make it easier to find them. I prefer when pics aren't scattered through the page.

For the first few months it was bad. But the mileage improved steadily. It's quite good now, considering how big the vehicle is. It's on par with a minivan, probably better than most minivans, and yet is more luxurious and doesn't have the stigma .

I do like that you only need to put in regular, or at least the non-DI engine I have only requires regular.

Trust me, it doesn't need it. I was skeptical too until I drove my fathers. This puppy can move.

^ It does that on any GM vehicle with a DIC and when the temp. is below like 38 degrees F.

^ That's what happens when you start the vehicle. All of the lights will show up and the gauges will move from left to right back to left. He just took a picture of it doing this.
