Re: Drove a HHR S/S today
Congrats on the purchase! I just picked up and 07 HHR LS a few weeks ago for a steal....with the rebates and loyalty earnings applied. I wish I could afford the SS. Anyway, great little car and highly versatile. Its already made several HD trips to bring home lumber, doors, etc and it handles 90% of what my full size picked did for my needs. I got the base LS with the 5spd and it needs the manual for any sort of perfomance.

What a lil hot rod! Hope your family enjoys it immensely.
They are just hitting the dealers here...have been meaning to go see one in person. ![]()

Re: Drove a HHR S/S today
I got the Black/Grey seat combo.
Had a 1LT, only wanted more go-power, loved everthing else about the HHR, never looked at any other cars. (before this purchase) As to fam., it`s basically just me and the wife. My boys are adults, still at home, but I`ll bet they rode in the 1LT 3-4 over the last 2 yrs. They`ve got their own things, may see them, may not. Just something to have a little fun in on weekends, shopping, and getting out the house. |

Perhaps you mean "Mexican-American"?

Re: Drove a HHR S/S today
The manual HHR has even more power (260hp) than the automatic (235hp). Did you drive the manual version too?

Re: Drove a HHR S/S today
No I didn`t test drive a manual.
Plain and simple, I don`t ever intend on buying another car with a stick. Been there-done that. 235hp is plenty for a wagon. It`s more than the 86 Mustang GT 5.0 (225hp) I had a while back. |
