Drove a HHR S/S today
I took a HHR S/S for a test drive today, it felt so good, I drove it home afterwards.
It is Sweet. Black-n-Fast. The dual scroll Turbo has power on tap whenever, (well ), you tap it.I got the auto, and I didn`t notice any boost lag, even from a stop light. The seats are very supportive and the ride is firm, it takes curves effortlessly. The last car I had with this feel of power was a `86 Mustang 5.0 GT. I hope it gets better gas milage !!!! |

Congratulations, I'd definitely consider one if I was in the market

The 1LT was (unofficially) my wifes X-Mas present a couple years ago, and she`s still sorta salty, only a couple hours have passed. She drove it today to church (at my insistance) and she likes the power, if it`s not too much for her... but she was kinda attached to the 06, poor baby .And it is as fast if not faster than my 86 GT, She didn`t like that car either, probably drove it once in 3 years. I got some discounts but my payments are higher anyway. 24K sounds about right. Last edited by The Cruck : 01-27-2008 at 06:42 PM. |

Re: Drove a HHR S/S today
Congrats on the new purchase. None of the Chevy dealerships near me have the HHR SS yet.

Wow, congrats on the HHR, I sat in one at NAIAS, very cool. Did you get the red/grey interior, or just the regular grey?

Cool! 8) BTW, did you cross shop with a Mazdaspeed 3? There is a '07 with 9K miles at the local dealer's lot that I'm interested in trading the '06 HHR.

At the recent NJ autoshow they had the HHR. I got to sit in one.. and I was really impressed. The car sure does scoot!
Have fun. JB
