Re: Cobalt LS - Detailed review by Giagastormer

I'd take my chances with the Malibu.

I will NEVER own a compact car. They serve no purpose.

do you think GM should give it a face-lift or an interior refresh to keep up with the new Civic and Sentra?

Not everybody wants to drive around wannabe space-ships. I prefer the handsome looks of the Cobalt to the fugly space-age Civic.

yes, this car looks even less modern then the corolla, a slight facelift, not civic like, is definately needed. it looks to rental carish now, and having your compact car run around with a sticker on the back that says "budget" isnt exactly the best way to build brand image.

I like the Coupe's styling much more so than the Sedan.

Re: Cobalt LS - Detailed review by Giagastormer

Thanks Giagastormer

I thought it was a fair review. I've never noticed the way the doors closed. Other than the LS with the chrome package the car does look a little bland. For some reason the coupes look much better. The black with the chrome looks awesome.

Some things I really like about the car are the tight body gaps, the hood has a shock to hold it up which don't even come in higher class cars, and the variety of engine choices. The battery is also found in the back next to the compact spare so you can boost the car from the front or the back and it distributes wieght more evenly. ( This matters up north when it's -40 and you need a boost.) Although they always seem to start when it's really cold.
