I remember the Bendix fuel injection on the Seville Olds 350 was actually a multiport setup with 8 injectors driven by a crankshaft-pulley mounted shutter wheel and triggered by a solid-state ECU, in other words the typical EFI setup but 10 years before it was common. I didn't know they had injected 500's but it must be the same kit
Of course Bendix had pretty much the same thing in the 1950's with the Electrojector ![]() |
