Re: 2009 GTI vs. WRX vs. Mazdaspeed3

You should try seeing the houses in my area, Chevy Chase and Kensington, as you get closer to DC, yes they are jaw-dropping!

Re: 2009 GTI vs. WRX vs. Mazdaspeed3

I don't dispute that VWs are fun to drive, but having owned one, quality and reliability can be sketchy at times. I hope it proves more reliable than my '00 GTI was. I'm still not to the point where I trust VW enough to come back. However, after more than 60k relatively trouble-free miles out of my Mazda, I'd definitely get another. the WRX is also on my list for consideration.

I'd love to get a domestic brand, but nothing really hits all the right buttons yet. Caliber SRT and HHR SS are close, but not quite. A Focus ST 5-door with a 2.0L EcoBoost, or a Cruze 5-door with the LNF and Nav would come closer.

Wow, why not a Cobalt SS sedan? Who cares how ugly the rear end is......in fact it is sooo ugly there isn't even a picture of sedan from the rear on Chevrolet's website.

But me....I love it. Cops won't even give a second glance.

Considered the Cobalt SS sedan, but I really love the practicality of a hatch.
