Re: 2008 Cadillac DTS
There is a Black DTS 2007 on our street and I must admit, it is one sharp looking vehicle.

Re: 2008 Cadillac DTS
It's not that I think a soft-riding Cadillac is a bad idea...it's just that if people really want such a car it should be made an electronic ride option on a much higher end supersedan which can also switch to a sportier mode with the flick of a button. At least, that seems to be the ideal way to compete in today's luxury car market. There's just something the about soft-ride-only mode and front-wheel-drive that does not seem to fit in the 21st century.
The DTS has styling worth deriving from to make the next Caddy supersedan, though. Last edited by Exploder : 11-18-2008 at 05:43 AM. |

Re: 2008 Cadillac DTS
Seriously, you guys need to drive the new Genesis and a Lucerne back to back.
Trust me, the Hyundai will have you throwing rocks at the Lucerne.

Re: 2008 Cadillac DTS
Of course, I imagine it's the same at a Lincoln-Mercury dealership with Grand Marquis and Town Cars, they are the last of the "old-boy" cars. When I sold Buicks years ago it was like that with the Park Avenue and LeSabre, I seldom ever financed one of those, it was all personal checks. I also sold alot of Centurys for cash as well.
People are living longer and longer and some of the die-hards are going to pay to get what they want, the DTS is the last Cadillac with a bench seat and a column shifter, that right there must bring in some the old fogies, mind you I am not knocking them, but there are alot of people here who dont "get" the DTS. It's there for a reason.... Last edited by MCGARRETT : 12-19-2008 at 09:28 PM. |
