2006 Lexus GS300 interior review.
Today I was getting my truch service at a local Toyota/Lexus dealership. I had some to look around at some of the cars and one of them was the all new 2006 Lexus GS300. To me it looks as if Lexus has targeted import buyers rather than any existing domestic buyers. The interior looks as if it is designed to appeal to Infiniti and Acura buyers.
Overall the interior materials was very impressive. There was a very nice smell to the interior of the car which reminds me of Cadillacs leather interiors. The seats were very comfortable, the dash layout was nice. Overall the interior was nice, however it just for some reason (Very similar to my impressions of the Avalon) was not what I really would want to be living with for many years of ownership. I was not impressed with the hidden panel of switches next to the driver, I didn't like the door panels (window switches) seems angled a little awkward. Overall the car was nice but didn't do it for me if I was going to buy one. I would rather have an LS or pre 05STS interior over the GS. |
