2001 Ford F150 4x4 5.4L V8 Supercab

Now that I have drove this i probaly can review it.Also it is at 125,000 Kilometres.

Interior:Well its all plastic. No big deal for me.If we got the XTR model it comes with wood. The seats are awesome though. They have lumbar support and the seatbelts attached to the seat. The rear seats are fine for me.And are alot better than the old nissan with jump seats. An adult could fit back there.(Im 5 feet and i have lots of space.)Th only complaint is that the seats in the back are too low. They could be a bit higher. There is only 4 cupholders,But we have not carried more than 4 people anyways. The AC works good and is quiet. The radio is good too.I like the Overhead compass temperture display too.

Exterior:
Everything is pretty much good here. Its color is Grey and Blue.I wish it was just 1 color but you cant really complain. It has stupid tubular steps which are stupid and look dumb.It rides higher than most chevys. It seems alot higher when your inside. It also has LT245 tires which are above Fords Reccomendation. They reccomend 235s.There has to be at least 200 of these trucks around town.We live in an area where the ratio of trucks to cars is 5:1.Also there is only 1 Nissan Titan I have seen.A TON of Dodges(mostly 1500s with hemis)Lots of Chevys too but mostly 2500s.This has 16 inch wheels which my dad says are too blingy!(oh ok.....)

ENGINE-Mechanicals
This truck has the Optional 5.4L 2-valve per cyllander SOHC 260 HP Triton V8.It also has a 4-speed Auto.Who ever says the 5.4L is slow is wrong. Its totally fine.My dad has put in a K+N air filter. When we cleaned it it seemed like it had 5 Horses more. The tranny is smooth and it works. Really the biggest thing I hate on this truck is the Noise. The engine is too quiet! It sounds like a V8,But you can barely hear it. Ive seen a F150 just like ours and it had some duals. It sounded so much better.Otherwise everything is fine. But the 5.3L chevy and the Hemi sound alot better.Gas usage is around 700Kms to the tank and its around 16-19 MPG.Depending on how fast your goin.Costs $60-$95 dollars to fill up.When gas was about .70 a litre it costed $60.But its around .95 a litre and it costs around $80.Gas was 1.20 a litre and then it costed $95 to fill up.

Reliability:
Who ever says Fords are Found on road dead are so stupid. It has 125,000Kms and nothing has happened. We had to clean the K+N,But it was over due. Really just got the oil changed on time and regular maintenance. No problems what so ever!

Drive a Dodge and Chevy and see if they are faster than your Ford.

is this truck being given to you, seeing as you can't drive legally for another few years.
