'92 Ford Explorer

Hey guys, I'm selling my truck. Let me know if you'd like pix, but I'll probably get some up by tomorrow anyway.

It's a '92 four door XL. 4x2. 5 speed manual. Mocha Frost Metallic. It's very close to being rust free. I haven't really driven it in winter and kept it washed when I had to. The rockers, dog legs, wheel wells, and everything else are solid. It's going to last a long time, and its in better shape than almost all other Explorers around here.

About 165k miles, adult owned. I can't remember it off the top of my head.

It has new/newer or rebuilt:

-shocks, radius arm bushings, clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, master cylinder, power steering pump/hoses, steering box, Flowmaster series 40 exhaust (not really loud and doesn't drone, all new from the cat-back), plugs/wires, air filter, intake manifold gaskets (and everything on up), thermostat, heater core, fuel pump and gauge assembly, fuel filter

Other things:

-U-haul class III hitch and trailer wiring. I've only towed a 6x10' trailer, empty, once.

-bled the brake lines for maintenance

-have changed the oil every 2800 miles or so, name brand oil and filter

-transmission oil has been changed about every 10k miles since I've owned it

-Synthetic power steering fluid

-American Racing Rebel wheels with all terrain tires. Wheels have some curbage but don't look bad, and they look fitting for this truck

-Audio includes a Pioneer AVH-P6400 (6.5'' retracting LCD), Sony front speakers and Pioneer rears, and a hardwired Pioneer XM tuner. I am including all this (like $1k into all that).

She isn't perfect, but drives well. I'm asking $2,200 but am open to offers. I'm at 517-285-1798. I'm located in Dimondale, MI, about 10 miles southwest of Lansing.

Triple-X08:take your hybrids and shove em up yer ass, i'll take my fuel injection and carburetors, and still make 30+ mpg. and i wont look like a douchebag driving it.
