Re: 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS/SC For Sale

you better sell it before the TC Cobalt SS comes out or you're seriously going to be taking a hit on resale. Good luck selling it but I Wouldn't pay what youre asking, not because you're car isn't amazing (it is) but I'd just assume buy a used 05 w/ 40k for 11,000 or wait and spend 3 more grand and get a brand new Turbo Charged Cobalt SS in 8 months, this is NOT the time to sell that type of car, good luck!

Re: 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS/SC For Sale

I'm planning on getting a GMT-900 is the reason for the sale, I realize not the best time....but find an 08 TC balt' for 16-17K and I'd buy it too, but that's not going to happen. I'm not in a huge hurry to get rid of it, it's just sitting in my garage through the winter as I have an alternate vehicle. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, it's in tip top shape, it has barely over 13,000 miles on it.

If turbochargers are making superchargers "old technology", someone had better warn all those suckers ready to pony up $100,000 for a ZR1.

Few and far between on any forum. Seems like there aren't many Cobalt SS/SC owners in Idaho either, at least not down here.

I don't know where the whole supercharge vs. turbo came from but I am quite happy with my "old technology" supercharged engine. I prefer blower whine to turbo spool anyways. Would I like to have a Cobalt SS/TC? Sure, but I'm perfectly happy with my SC/SS, as anyone should be. They are great cars with plenty of power for everyday driving. Personally I'm holding out for a new Camaro anyways.... Good luck on the sell.

It started when one member decided to use this "for sale" thread as a platform for his beaten-into-the-ground turbo Cobalt agenda.

It's all behind us now, thankfully.

I completely agree, I will regret getting rid of it I know, but some decisions are tough to make. I would LOVE a new camaro, especially after seeing these new spy pics on the front page. Beautiful car!
